Pao has developed a process called ‘Chauffage Doux’ inspired from ‘Sous Vide’ in the Michelin starred cooking industry. Slow heating gives the ingredients time to bind harmoniously in a temperature controlled environment keeping all the goodness within the raw ingredients whilst creating a perfectly smooth light emulsion.

Gentle hand whisking allows air bubbles to create a lightness as the ingredients ribbon together. Pincerna products are not agitated or filtered giving them the raw goodness of nature and the smoothness of silk.

OUR INGREDIENTS

Natural Highland Spring water straight from protected land in the Ochil Hills, Perthshire, Scotland. The special rock formations make our Spring water as pure as can be. Drawn from organic certified land the same today as it was 400 million years ago.

Organic Olive Oil packed with anti-ageing antioxidants and hydrating squalene. Homer described olive oil as ‘liquid gold’, it doesn’t clog pores and penetrates deeply into the skin. A general beauty booster which protects the skin from ultraviolet light and removes dead skin cells to leave the epidermis looking renewed and glowing.

Organic Calendula Oil has anti-inflammatory and vulnerary action making it a great moisturiser which soothes dry skin. Calendula Oil is extracted by steam distillation and mixed with sunflower oil. 

Sunflower Oil helps skin retain moisture with nutrients such as Palmitic acid, Stearuc acid, Calcium and Omega-6 fatty acids. Sunflower Oil contains proteins which are vital for building and repairing skin tissue.

Shea Butter is packed full of natural vitamins and fatty acids that make it incredibly nourishing and moisturising for the skin. Our Shea Butter is unrefined and extracted manually without hexane which leaves all the vitamins and minerals as nature intended. Shea Butter contains antioxidants such as vitamin A and E which make it a natural sunscreen and skin rejuvenator for dry skin. Shea Butter restores skin elasticity, maintains an even skin tone whilst hydrating, softening and beautifying it.

Glycerine helps to soothe dry and irritated skin and acts as an humactant to retain moisture and water into your skin. Bursting with anti-bacterial qualities, Glycerine helps to soothe dry and irritated skin.

Our organic Glycerine is kosher and vegan approved, it is produced from plant oils.

Our organic approved vegetable based emulsifiers are used in the Danish Vegan ice cream industry. Our emulsifiers are made from sustainably sourced  raw materials with non GMO bacterial fermentation.

Cetearyl Alcohol is an emulsifier made from a palm kernel oil fatty acid which is an emollient, making the skin soft and smooth. We never use beeswax as an emulsifier as it can clog the skin especially on the face.

Natural Vitamin E is an antioxidant and skin-conditioning ingredient that protects the fibroblast in the skin. Vitamin E protects the skin from environmental pollution whilst providing good photo-protection. It is a natural moisturiser and anti-inflammatory and helps to preserve our creams for at least 12 months.

Preservative Eco is a broad spectrum preservation system that have global acceptance for Organic products. The antimicrobial blend offers protection against gram-positive and gram negative bacteria, yeast and mould.

Non-paraben, non-formaldehyde and non-isothiazolone based preservative system.
